Description: This auction is for a light green, red iron pontil, private mold embossed, squat soda type, porter & ale bottle that is embossed Eagle Works, Philada, the reverse is not embossed. This bottle stands 7½ inches tall, a choice example, with excellent color that has not been tumbled. Absolutely remarkable condition for a dug bottle, this is exactly how the bottle came out of the ground a few years ago and it is fresh to the market and very close to 'as made'. Another tough bottle to find without an ice pick bruise. Please see the Condition Description above for additional detail.
