The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with bumping/wear to the spine/corners, wear to the cloth boards and wear/marks to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the large, vertical crease on the spine! The crease/wear, while not terribly egregious, is still very clearly visible and has been closely photographed for your careful examination/consideration. The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, chipping/scuffing, toning/marks and rips/tears resulting in some loss of paper. There is also considerable toning/age discoloration/marks on the inside of the dust jacket which is not visible unless the jacket is fully removed but still worth mentioning/considering.
