Description: Ludwig Mid-1980's Chrome Wrap Over 6 Ply Wood Shell 24" x 16" Bass Drum This auction is for a Ludwig Mid-1980's Chrome Wrap Over 6 Ply Wood Shell 24" x 16" Bass Drum, as pictured. Covering is in poor shape with bubbles, scratches, dings, and worn areas where wood can be seen under plastic. Keystone Monroe, NC badge is quite scratched. Interior has some scratches, dings, and some worn areas on bottom from being used without front head. Both edges have some minor dings. All chrome has moderate to heavy pitting. Drilled for two pairs of heavy arcing spurs. Only one pair remains and the brackets are left of other ones, which have no wing bolts either. Has Hercules tom bracket on top. Heads are both new old stock. Hoops are black metal which are heavily touched up. Claws on front appear to be Pearl. They have scratches, pitting, and heavy loss of chrome. Tension rods are not all perfectly straight and they have scratches and rust. Other 10 claws are imports which look different than others. Tension rods are several styles and lengths.
