Description: This sterling silver mosaic / cornrow pendant was created by Navajo artist, Lynol Yellowhorse, of the famed Yellowhorse family. The striking raised mosaic consists of turquoise, spiny oyster and shades of lapis lazuli and sugalite combined to make a stunning color combination. Pendant is four-sided diamond type shape that is 1 7/8" x 2 3/4" at its widest and longest points (including bale). It weighs approximately 21.5 grams and has a generous bale. Lynol was a very talented and creative artist whose work is highly collectible and very widely recognized. He was born in 1962 and sadly passed away at the young age of 41 years old. We purchased this pendant new from Lynol in 1994 for gallery inventory. It has never been worn.
