Description: This is a beautiful bayonet. It has the factory blade, a pointy tip, and lots of great markings including: Weyersburg & Co. Solingen. MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER D 6590. Very clean overall. The blade has the vast majority of the factory metal color finish with no patina that I can find. In my opinion, the blade looks unused. It has one very tiny side edge nick. The wood handle is secure with some minor surface wear. No cracks. The pommel looks great with very faint surface wear. The push button works as expected. The guard looks very nice and has the metal color. The scabbard is in great condition with bluing loss in the frog area and otherwise, very minor finish wear. No damage except for a couple of very tiny edge nicks near the bottom. Fully functional. This is a beautiful set.
