According to Aleister Crowley, Collins was at one time romantically involved with occultist, Robert Donston Stephenson, who was said to have five blood-soaked ties in a trunk under his bed, corresponding to the five murders committed in Whitechapel by Jack the Ripper. This book is a fascinating novel about the occult Egyptian faith and the Egyptian priesthood, where their religion begins to degenerate into a system of Tantric worship and black magic. Elements of psychic change and resurrection. Provenance: This book was part of the collection of the celebrated book seller and collector George Locke.
