All pages have been laminated (heat sealed in plastic) and are tear proof and stain proof. I used these while teaching a crafts class so most have an area where I blocked out my name with a copper colored paint marker. My student aide was told to remove the price tags before laminating but forgot so there are areas on the covers where they cut through the laminate with an exacto knife to remove them after they were laminated. You can cover those areas with a piece of tape if you’d like. The cosmetic issues of the covers don’t impact the insides, all the instructions are intact and readable.
