Description: Selling individual issues of MAD Magazine from the 1960s and early 1970s. MAD Magazine #87 (June 1964, E.C. Publications, Inc.) – This issue grades about 4.5 VG+. The cover, which has retained ok reflectivity, and centerfold are attached, the pages are cream colored, the inside covers have tanning edges. The front cover top left-hand corner has a bindery tear and some chipping, there is a subscription crease at the center running from top to bottom, the bottom left-hand corner has an approx. ½” spine split, the bottom edge at the right-side has an approx. ¼” tear, there is wear and rounding at the bottom right-hand corner; the back cover has a crease from the MAD Fold-In, the spine has a tear at the bottom staple’s top edge. $10.00. MAD Magazine #121 (September 1968, E.C. Publications, Inc.) – This issue grades about 6.5 FN+. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and centerfold are attached; the pages are cream-colored with tanning edges. The front cover top left-hand corner has a chip, the right-hand corner is slightly curled inward, the bottom left-hand corner has a chip, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 1/8” crease; the back cover has what appears to be printer’s ink in various places, the spine has some stress lines at the bottom side. It does NOT have stress/crease lines from the MAD Fold-In. $20.00. MAD Magazine #124 (January 1969, E.C. Publications, Inc.) – This issue grades about 5.5 F-. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and centerfold are attached; the pages are cream-colored with slightly tanning edges. The front cover corners all have wear and are rounded, the bottom left-hand corner has an approx. 1/8” spine split, there is a tear above the top portion of the bottom staple, the spine has a few stress lines at the top ½ of the book - the largest about ¼”; the back cover has two tears at the top staple - each approx. 1/4”. It does NOT have stress/crease lines from the MAD Fold-In. $15.00. MAD Follies – 4th Annual Edition (1966, E.C. Publications, Inc.) – This issue grades about 1.0 F. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, is attached, the page are cream-colored with slightly tanning edges. The front cover top right-hand corner has wear, there are smudges on the right-hand edge, the bottom left-hand edge has some color loss, the bottom right-hand corner has an impact crease, approx. ½”, the spine has a parallel stress line near Al’s hand and an approx. ½” stress line near his leg; the back cover bottom left-hand corner has an approx. 2” crease, there are indentations near the character’s head at the left side, the top edge has some smudges. On the downside, it does NOT have the MOBILE, which has been taken out of the issue. On the upside, it does NOT have stress/crease lines from the MAD Fold-In. $7.50. More Trash from MAD – 7th Annual Edition (1964, E.C. Publications, Inc.) - This issue grades about 1.0 F. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, is attached, the page are cream-colored with slightly tanning edges. The front cover top right-hand corner has an approx. 1” crease, the bottom right hand corner has approx. ¾” and ½” creases; the back cover top left-hand corner has an approx. 2” crease, there are some impact dings at the top edge. It does NOT have the stickers/stamps, which have been taken out of the issue. $6.00. MAD Special – Spring ’71 (Spring 1971, E.C. Publications, Inc.) – This issue grades about 4.5+. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and centerfold, are attached; the front cover has an approx. ¾” crease at the top right-hand corner, there is an approx. ¼” crease at the bottom right-hand corner; the back cover has two lengthy creases at the top area and an approx. ¾” one at the right-hand corner, there is a tear – approx. ½” – near the “Beat-A-Check” can. The 16 “Wall-Nuts” pages are intact. $15.00. The Worst from MAD – 11th Annual Edition (1968, E.C. Publications, Inc.) - This issue grades about 1.0 F. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, is attached, the page are cream-colored with slightly tanning edges. The front cover has an approx. 3” crease at the right-hand side running through the “N” in “Lemon”, the bottom left-hand corner has an approx. ¼” spine split, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 1 ¼” crease; the back cover bottom left-hand corner has an approx. ½” crease, it has the MAD Fold-In crease. It does NOT have the stickers, which have been taken out of the issue. $6.00. The Worst from MAD – 12th Annual Edition (1969, E.C. Publications, Inc.) - This issue grades about 5.0 VG/F. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and centerfold are attached, the page are cream-colored with slightly tanning edges. The front cover has an approx. 1/2” creased top right-hand corner, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. ¼” crease, there appears to be foxing at the top left-hand side; the back cover has some staining at the bottom left-hand corner and has the MAD Fold-In crease.
