VERY RARE!!! Madame Alexander MAZIE SHOWGIRL OOAK Vintage Cissy 21"

Description: This is a rare, one of a kind (OOAK) Mazie Showgirl Madame Alexander Cissy doll. In the late 50's or the 1960's, Mazie's Doll Boutique designed and costumed Cissy dolls. She has her plastic gold sandals that were glued to her stand as was typical. The shoes were removed from the stand when she was restored and she has been on display in a regular stand. None of this doll's costume is glued to the doll like some Ice Capades (IC) dolls were and many IC nailed their costume parts to the doll. This one did not have any nails. She has her extra added eyelashes. There are no fasteners on her outfit as it was not made to come off. These dolls are one of a kind and more rare than IC dolls. Highly sought by collectors, this is truly a living doll. She was acquired by this collector back in 2012 from the Gaithersburg Doll Show as an "Ice Capades" Cissy and was restored by a professional Cissy spa to her original brilliance that you see. The outfit is all complete and original as is the head piece of her plume feathers. Her outfit has the tag of "MAZIE'S DOLL BOUTIQUE" of Bellaire, Texas. She has been on display since her restoration. This collector must down size and is relocating to where she cannot be properly displayed. Rather than box her up for some unknown period of time, has decided to sell her so that someone else can enjoy her. I was recently sent research information verifying this doll as a "Mazie Showgirl Cissy" instead of an IC doll.
