Native to the rain forests of West Africa and Sapele is commonly found in Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania.Red oak, is an oak tree in the red oak group. It is a native of North America, in the eastern and central United States and southeast and south-central Canada. Both types of wood are easy to work with and the finished product is pleasant to the eye. Each piece is 3/4" x 3/4" x 5 inch long, NOT predrilled. You can drill and then turn the rod on the lathe to your specifications. These pieces can be cut to fit a lot of your project needs. We also carry other exotic wood.
