Description: This neat, uncommon, green, 0.5-Penny newspaper wrapper(very clean; w/little wear and tear!) for Malta was sent on or around July 29, 1890, from Malta, to a Monsieur P. Jumel, Beauvais, France, via Tunis(written in French!), Tunisia! A postal worker, a Josef(?) Zammit(a Maltese last name!), signed the front, and likely addressed the mail(either his own, or for someone else), as the same pen seems to have been used for the address, and the handwriting on the front is similar throughout. The mail arrived in Beauvais on 8/4/90! Simply put, this is one interesting piece of Maltese postal history!
