Description: This is a map which shows where everyone lived in the towns of Mamaroneck, White Plains, Rye, Scarsdale and Harrison, Westchester County, New York from 1867 which was reproduced on fine natural color parchment. It's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat. The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps, please feel free to contact me with any questions! Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners Scarsdale, White Plains, Harrison, Port Chester, Mamaroneck, Rye and Bronxville. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture, however it is indeed crystal clear on the actual map! Please note that due to the expansive area covered on this map the densely populated areas show very little homesteads. Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Carpenter, Parker, Wright, Willets, Morris, Cornell, Palmer, Clapp, Young, Hull, Burns, Brown and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!
