Man-Thing #7 Vol. 2 Chris Claremont, Newsstand 8.5 VF+, 1980 Marvel

Description: SELLERS NOTES – Read before buying or bidding! BEST OFFERS: Please don’t send ridiculously low offers. Any offer under 50% of my asking price will be automatically rejected. I can usually do between 10% and 15% off. No one is forcing you to buy from me. If you don’t like my counter-offer, that’s fine, don’t get upset about what I’m asking for, just go buy from someone else. If it’s listed at $99.99 and you offer $80 and I counter with $89.99, that’s the best I can do, I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you dollar by dollar. And please don’t ask for free shipping – if I wanted to sell with free shipping, I would offer it. I do offer combined shipping and will work with you on that. And of course, the more you buy the better deal I can give you. GRADING: SEE SCANS BEFORE BIDDING FOR EACH BOOK'S INDIVIDUAL CONDITION AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF! I’m not a professional grader, I’m a serious collector who’s been collecting for over 30 years. The majority of the books I’m selling are listed with the exact same grade they were listed as when I bought them and the dealer graded them, and that’s the grade I go by. Others I grade as accurately as possible, comparing them to my dealer graded books I’ve received from Mile High, Lonestar and Mid-Town - but you must look at the high quality scan of the cover (and sometimes back cover if needed) before bidding. If there’s only 1 scan, the back cover and interior are in similar condition to the front cover. Most of the higher graded books have never been read. I'm an accurate grader (see my feedback, but be sure to look at the scans as grading is inherently subjective) and usually my books are in better shape than the scans make them look. I rarely ever give anything I sell a 9.6 or higher because it sets up unrealistic expectations. If the listing is for a group of comics and I give them an average grade, I will do my best point out any flaws that fall outside of 1 or 2 grades below that average, that may be hard to see in the scan. If I give a set of comics a 9.2 average grade, one or more of them maybe in the 9.0 or 8.5 range without me noting it. If any or lower than that, most likely I will note it, or it is obvious in the scan. If the average grade is a 9.0 VF/NM or lower some issues may have a slight box bend or spine bend that can’t be seen in the scans. PACKING/SHIPPING: Allow 4-10 days delivery in Continental USA. Comics are packaged in a poly or Mylar bag with board, between 2 pieces of sturdy cardboard or a box or a Gemini mailer, in a weatherproof envelope. CGC Books are packed safely and securely and shipped in a USPS Medium priority box. SOMETIMES the bag and board may be older, other times they are brand new. This is my collection I’m selling, I’m not a store. There may be more than 1 comic in each bag – possibly as many as 5 or 6, packed tightly in 1 bag. This is often the case if you buy a set of comics from me, as it was the way I stored them to cut down on space in the long boxes and cost of bags and boards. In some cases this is actually a better way to pack comics for shipping: less movement = less possibility of damage. My #1 job is to make sure the comics get to you undamaged. Most buyers and serious collectors re-bag and board all the comics they buy anyway. COMBINED SHIPPING: If you buy more than 1 listing, I'll use the higher shipping cost of the multiple listings, and then add 50 cents for every additional comic and send first class or media mail depending on weight. If you buy multiple listings I may have to switch from First Class to Media Mail without notifying you, but I’ll make the shipping reasonable. I’m not in a position where I can do over-night, expedited or custom shipping. If you need a comic in a hurry, I’m probably not the seller for you. I make sure the comics I ship are safe, secure and won’t get damaged. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I only use eBay’s Global Shipping Program - I don't control their fees. I know they are expensive but I have no control over that. If you don’t want to buy from someone who uses eBay’s global shipping program, or that program doesn’t include the country you are in, I suggest you buy directly from the My Comic Shop, Mid-Town, or Mile High websites. RETURNS: No returns accepted right now. If you are extremely particular about your comics, you probably shouldn’t be buying them online - you should go to your store and see them comic with your own eyes before buying. Look at the scans closely before buying. If your comic is damaged in the shipping process send me photos and we can work out a return or partial refund. If there is a problem with your order, CONTACT ME, and I will make it right. Do Not open a return case; that makes it impossible for me to give a partial refund or fix the problem. COMMUNICATION: I’m very good at replying to messages via ebay, so if you have any questions either before purchase or after receiving your order, please get in touch and I know we can work it out. If there is a problem with your order, CONTACT ME, and I will make it right. Do Not open a return case; that makes it impossible for me to give a partial refund or fix the problem. If you are considering leaving me neutral or negative feedback, please send me a message first and let’s see if we alleviate whatever issues you had with your order or me as a seller.
