Colors can vary from creamy white to light brown. Maple is similar in appearance to that of birch, the maple's creamy white colors may have a slightly more pinkish hue than that of the birch. This hardwood with its closed grain accepts stains and finishes very well, and is often clear finished to let the natural warm colors show through. These doors are constructed with an engineered wood core, laminated with a select veneer. This construction diminishes warp and twist, and is environmentally friendly as well. **There is removable plastic film on the glass to make the door easier to finish.
