Marcel Mouly "Mandole et Compotier Rouge" Limited Signed Numbered Print w/ COA

Description: "MANDOLE ET COMPOTIER ROUGE" This is a large unframed, signed and numbered, Marcel Mouly lithograph on BFK Rives paper, entitled "Mandole et Compotier Rouge." The art is hand signed by Mouly, and it is numbered from the regular numbered edition of 300 pieces. This piece is numbered 292/300 on the lower left of the art. Marcel Mouly (1918 - 2008) was born in Paris. His career of painting was influenced greatly by Picasso, Matisse and Braque. His work has been collected all over the world, and exhibited in prestigious venues around the globe. His art has been included in the permanent collections of more than twenty museums. He was at his death, the last living protege of the great Picasso. The print is in very good condition! There are a couple of small folds on the edge of the paper far from the image...please see the last two photos for this. Like most Mouly art works, this piece is very colorful...great fauvist bold colors in this beautiful still life image! The dimensions of the print are 35" X 25." The image is 30" X 20." The print comes with a deckled edge on the bottom side. Included with the art is a Certificate of Authenticity (COA.) The shipping charge for this piece includes insurance.
