Description: This listing is for a 50cm x 70 CM cotton three tulips TEA TOWEL based on a painting by Maria Sybilla Merian (1647-1717) and apparently purchased from a museum shop. Maria Sibylla Merian was a German entomologist, naturalist and scientific illustrator. She was one of the earliest European naturalists to document observations about insects directly.
