Description: Mariage Freres teapot. Vintage style, does not seem old. White with “La Route du The de la Saison 1854-1855” and a list of cities (mostly Asian, plus La Havre). Excellent used condition. Lid has a small silver band around the edge. Both the lid and the teapot have been used, but no no scratches, dings, cracks, crazing or chips. Finish is glossy. Another listing I saw for an identical teapot ($129.95) stated that it didn’t have a strainer. This one doesn’t either. Measures approximately 7.5” high with the lid and 8.25” from edge of spout to widest part of handle. Holds approximately 30 ounces when full. Note: I do not have the original box.
