There is an owner's name and a Do Not Take message on the opening flyleaf, but I obtained this at an Estate Sale, do not worry! Outside of that opening writing, there is NO other writing , and NO notes or highlighting. There is a small 1 1/2 in. tear on Page 235, but it was carefully taped up (see Photo #17). There is Page yellowing, Lite Edge-wear to the Cover but nothing serious, Lite General Age-Wear to the cover and Pages, and some lite age-staining on the opening flyleaf illustrations, front and back, but I don't consider it terrible. Very lite age smell, but nothing distracting, you have to get your nose right up to it (at least I did!) There is an old silk bookmark on Page 318 in OK shape.
