Description: Cool World is a Pop-Culture Smorgasbord! We never use stock images and we hand-check all of our books! Here's a lovely and subtle bas relief hanging wall sculpture by Mariya K who, we believe, is the Ukrainian-born artist working out of Georgia. It's a very cool mash-up of a jellyfish draping from the brain of the woman's portrait and whose tentacles blend with the thick curls of the model. It appears to be a handsculpted piece made of resin or wax, but the material type and sculpt are hard to discern. It might be a molded piece and it might be a different material altogether but the variations across the surface make it look handcrafted to our eyes. Whichever it is it is on an acrylic backing surface. It's in excellent condition but has a visible 1" crack on the lower left (see photo). From the back it has a corresponding small impact dent. Overall size is right around 19" x 11.75" Cool World Pop Culture works hard to deliver exceptional products in a timely, professional manner.
