Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Marty Robbins titled "Not So Long Ago b/w I Hope You Learn A Lot", originally released in 1963 by Columbia Records. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The archival inner sleeve is Near Mint. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "T", followed by the matrix numbers 1-A/1-A, indicating that the first stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip, along with a superficial scrape on Side Two. I'm play grading this record between Very Good (Side Two) and Very Good Plus (Side One) because of low levels of surface noise, none of which over-powers the vocals or the music, along with some rotational ticking on Side Two. This single plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Terre Haute pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
