Marx Diesel Electric Train Set # 9613, Southern Pacific 6000 AA Freight W/OB

Description: Well, I really didn't want to let this one go, but it's time for someone else to enjoy as I desperately need to make room in "My Toybox." This set is a running AA Marx tin litho Southern Pacific diesel with a Wabash Gondola, PRR 37956 Merchandise Service car and a Southern Pacific Caboose. The Caboose unfortunately has the wrong type coupler, and it is broken as well. However, it will still connect and show well. Also included are 8 pieces of radius track, 4 straight track, transformer, and track clip. The box has had a repair and has a few tears, but it does the job keeping the set safe and secure. This was originally sold at Montgomery Ward and still has the label from the store. It has been tested and runs well in both forward and reverse. The tin litho looks amazing considering the age and is easily a C-6. Please LOOK at all of the pictures as they are the best way to analyze the condition of this set. If you have any questions, I will be happy to help. This is a sad day because I genuinely love running this set, but as I said, it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
