Description: Here is a rather rare Marx 4 wheel plastic freight car. It is a red Marlines caboose with white heat stamped type lettering which is quite faint. The caboose is equipped with 4 plastic wheels on metal axles and tab and slot type coupler. The caboose main body is in fantastic shape including the simulated truck sideframes. But the front coupler bar is broken off and missing and the rear railing has serious damage and missing sections. The smokestack is 100% intact.. Still would be an absolutely ideal candidate for someone who wants to create an 8 wheel version of this car (which Marx never actually did)! Since it is the heat stamped lettering, you could "fill in" the lettering to reink it in white, and bring it back to its natural glory! Photos from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference plus two angle shots so you can see that very faint lettering.
