Mary carved and printed the blocks herself in this small edition of 50. This reduction process guarantees that only a limited number of prints are made of an image. After a color is printed, that part of the block is cut away; the next darker ink is applied and printed; the block is carved again until all that is left on the block is the area of the final color. She cannot is the area of the final color. She cannot go back to change colors or to make more prints. This print comes custom framed, matted, a hanging wire attached, and a sealed bag of brackets.Measurements: Print: 12 1/2" x 5 1/2" Framed: 18" x 11"The print is in excellent condition. It looks like there is some debris between the matte and the glass in a couple of places. The upper left corner glass has a defect. See all photos for overall condition.
