Description: This is a very old quart Mason's jar. I've had this for decades, used to have marbles in it when I was a kid. Time to find a new home. Not an expert on these jars but this one has the Pentat Nov 30th 1858 in a strong embossed raised lettering on the front. Under the word "Mason's" it has what I understand is called a hero cross. On the bottom of the jar, also in raised lettering it says "Pat Nov 26 67" in a circle and then in the middle of the bottom it says 648. Jar is in good shape, has a small chip on the inside of the top lip but it doesn't go through to the outer edge of the lip, its just on the inside. Has an old zinc Ball screw on lid with it. Nice quart jar, looking for a new home. Buyer to pay actual shipping by US Priority Mail.
