Description: AN IMPRESSIVE 37" TALL CINCINNATI ART POTTERY STYLE VASE , ATTRIBUTED TO T.J. WHEATLEY OR A CONTEMPORARY OF THE VASE, FROM THE LATE 1800S IS STUNNING. IT IS FULLY THREE DIMENSIONAL IN IT'S DESIGN WITH A TOTAL OF SEVEN INDIVIDUAL SCULPTED BUSTS OF BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN WOMEN AND TWO LACE EDGED FANS. THIS AS WELL AS THE BEAUTIFUL ARRAY OF THREE DIMENSIONAL FLOWERS AGAINST A PAINTED BACKGROUND. THERE ARE A FEW FLOWER CHIPS COMMON WITH THIS TYPE OF DESIGN BUT ONLY A FEW AND YOU HAVE TO LOOK HARD TO SEE THEM. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR BEST DESCRIPTION. THIS CAME FROM A FAMILY THAT HAD OWNED IT SINCE EARLY 1900. THEY SAID IT WAS CALLED THE "SEVEN SISTERS " AFTER THE SEVEN BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO ARE DEPICTED THERE. THE FAMILY STORY WAS IT WAS POSSIBLY MADE IN CINCINNATI BY THE CINCINNATI ART POTTERY CO. OR T. J.
