I am original owner. 50+ years. Not played with at all. Stored in a keepsake box since the car was new from 1973 era. Pictures taken in harsh light to show details and any flaws up close. In regular room light, most of the flaws aren't noticeable. Still in original Box. Box is scuffed from age and storage. The clear plastic front view windows on the Matchbox Editions Boxes generally tends to be lightly crumpled or wrinkled or bulging out. Not Lesney's best design feature for this style of box, but the boxes generally all have this flaw from that era, however, the cars are beautiful and really well crafted. The quality and detail is amazing. Larger than standard Matchbox Cars. Truck has shiny paint. A couple tiny paint nicks at front of truck bed covered by roof tarp. Might be from manufacturing time, since the truck wasn't played with. Beige/Olive Green plastic tarp and roof are lightly textured to look like drooping canvas cloth. Graphic sticker placement is ok, but slight tilted on driver’s side. Made in England 1973 by Lesney Products & Co LTD. Orange price tag sticker was sales price of $4.00. $4 in 1973 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $28.36 today, an increase of $24.36 over 51 years. Honestly, the current market resale value of Models of Yesteryear appears to be too low and should fetch much higher prices, because this series is some of Matchbox Brands best work.
