Description: Matchbox Models of YesteryearDiecast Model Y8-4 - 1945 MG-TC A logical follow-up to the TA and TB models, the TC had a 4-cylinder 1250cc engine with a four-speed gearbox. Bought by many US servicemen and shipped back to the United States, this little vehicle was responsible for the sports car boom in post-war America. This model, from 1978, is finished in green. The MG-TC was the first in the Models of Yesteryear series to be modelled on a post-war vehicle. Excellent pre-owned condition and presented in its original Type I "Straw" Box. Box is generally very good, but with some minor wear and light creasing. Model itself is near mint. See photos - all photos show actual item.
