Description: Matched Pair of Used Tested 6550A Vacuum Tubes GE/MPD. You are buying two tubes. These tubes were purchased new from ARS Electronics and used very little. They have been retested on a fully restored & calibrated TV-7D/U tester. The new labels on the boxes show the current test readings. A reading above 44 is considered a "good" tube. These tubes test at _____64 and 62_____ . These tubes were "MFG TO GE SPEC BY MPD INC IN OWENSBORO, KY" in 1992. When GE stopped making the 6550A tube in Owensboro, KY in 1980, they sold their equipment to MPD Microwave Power Devices. MPD continued to make the 6550A to the original GE specs, on the original GE equipment, in Owensboro from 1980 to 1995. The tubes in this ad were made in 1992. All of this information is clearly stamped on the tubes and can be seen in the ad photo. These tubes are being sold AS-IS with no warranty. Of course I will pack them very carefully for shipping, and have fully tested them prior to shipping. But, since they are over 30 years old, I cannot give any warranty on them. They will ship fully insured, so that if USPS damages them in transit, you can file a claim. Shipping will be via USPS Mail. We only ship to USA and Canada.
