Her artwork is represented in corporate and private collections. Detailed artwork in her father’s medical magazines were influential during childhood. While illustrating high school biology class notebooks, Mathilde knew she wanted to work with nature’s intricate details. After college she graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida (three-year fine arts curriculum). She later studied botanical art at Rhode Island School of Design and scientific illustration at the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University.
