Description: Robert Best's "Silkstone" Barbie Fashion Model Collection is considered by many doll collectors to be the pinnacle of Barbie. Their bodies are made of a dense, heavy weight vinyl that is intended to resemble the feel of porcelain. This is the "Sunday Best" doll, released in 2002 as a part of the gold label collection. Her shantung sheath dress in delicate lilac is as lovely as a Sunday Morning" I do not know if she has ever been removed from the packaging, but she is packed neatly and intact in her box. All pieces appear to be present. Her clothing is clean with no signs of display and her hair is neat and tidy. The box has some discoloration and staining on the front. Artificial materials or elastics may be weak or degraded from age and were not tested for their integrity.
