Description: This is a listing for a Custom Hardwood Cabinet to fit the Mac 4100 Receiver. I build this a four-sided cabinet, my interpretation of how these should be displayed. I "Do Not" build that three-sided thing McIntosh sold for this unit. This has the single mounting hole on the bottom to secure the cabinet to the receiver. I can build this cabinet in Cherry for $350, Mahogany for $365, Sapele for $380 or American Walnut for $395. Lucite clear tops add $65 dollars and exotic hardwoods add material cost at current market prices. Basically, I build the cabinet for $200 in labor and cost of materials. All cases are made to order and take 30 working days to build. Dye and then mineral stained, two coats sanding sealer and three coats nitrocellulose flat lacquer. If you go to "sellers' other items" you can see a lot of other pictures. If you would like to order a cabinet reach out to me and I will create a specific listing for you.Note: I build a unique case for this that I sell primarily on the west coast and do not post it on eBay. If you would like to see another style for "The Receiver That Saved McIntosh' you can reach out to me. ThanksDennis
