Description: A lovely smaller MCM lamp measuring approx. 15-1/2" from base to the top of the bulb and the round base is 3-1/2" in diameter. It features a gridded and swirled pattern of muted gold/bronzed paint over a white background, and is a typical design of the MCM era. It appears that the lamp socket has been replaced as the base of the socket is silver colored (aluminum) and the top part of the socket is brass colored. It has it's original plug made of bakelite and is a non-polarized plug (which was the standard of the day back then). I don't know if the cord is original but it appears as if it is, and with any vintage lamp, you should have it checked. I plugged it in and it's working fine and there are no cracks or apparent problems with the cord. (Note: it does not come with a light bulb). It's a lovely little lamp for a smaller space or an accent in a room! Note: I will combine shipping on multiple purchases upon request.
