A 5 pc set of vintage, Mid-Century c. 1960's, MCM Scandinavian art glass dishes by Humppila consisiting of a serving plate or platter and 4 individual small plates. Great for crudite, salad or dessert service, bread and butter, small bites, etc. Each piece has a unique intaglio botanical / nature design on the textured back giving the smooth top surface a carved ice look. Each pc. retains the original labels for Humpphila and Handmade in Finland. Rims are irregular in design, a super handsome Mid Century Modern set. Glass is clear and thick. Large platter/plate has a pinetree branch with pinecone motif, smaller plates each unique nature motifs. I show pics holding them up to the window and also on a white cloth. Glass is thick, approx. 5/8" thick to top of rims which curve upward. Excellent unused condition with original labels. No chips, cracks or repairs. Minty. Large serving plate approx. 10-1/8" across. Small plates measure approx. 6-1/4" across, serving plate or platter approx. Double boxed for safe travel. This is heavy glass, Priority or Ground Advantage available, you choose at checkout.
