Description: NO RESERVE! I’m offering an exquisite example of antique quality porcelain made by MEISSEN of GERMANY. This piece is a GRAVY or SAUCE BOAT, double spout with attached underplate. Hallmarked with BLUE CROSSED SWORDS under glaze (photo). Late 19th century circa 1880’s. High glaze finish. Hand decorated with colorful multi floral sprays and various insects (photo). Featuring gold gilt trims, raised basketweave pattern and scalloped edge rims. Beautiful. Attached UNDERPLATE measures approximately 10 1/2” x 6 1/2” oval, BOAT approximately 8 1/2” length, 4 1/4” wide, 6” handle to handle, 4” height. Plate firmly attached, secure. Spouts intact. I note a very shallow surface line scuff to underside glaze (last photo). Clean. VERY GOOD, antique, preowned, used condition. No other chips, cracks, breaks, hairlines or restorations that I can see. As is, as found. Nice opportunity to add to any set you’re building! Please look at photos. Question? Just ask! TERMS: Payment expected within three (3) calendar days of auction close. PayPal accepted. Upon completed and cleared payment through eBay Managed Payments, I ship via USPS mail, tracked, in approximately 48 hours.
