Description: MELODY Vintage Collectible Antique Retro Electric Guitar (Teisco style) Here’s a very cool electric guitar for the player who’s looking for something highly unique! Some features include: 22 Frets, two pickups , on and off switches for each pickup, volume and tone knobs for each pick up, and double cutaway body style. The electronics are a tiny bit scratchy, but fully functional. The tremolo bar is missing, and there is no case for the guitar. Most of the chrome is in good shape, but there a few nicks and scratches, none serious, especially for a guitar of this age, so please see photos. The neck is fairly thick and chunky, which is typical for a guitar of this type and age. Presumably made in Japan, like most other guitars of this style and vintage. The guitar is approximately 40” in length and the scale length is approximately 24 3/4”. By comparison, my Strat is approximately 38 1/2” long, with a scale length of 25 3/4”. It won’t necessarily play like your favorite Strat or Les Paul, but it’s definitely playable. Appears to be all original and plays decently. The neck is straight, and the guitar is in very good condition considering its age. Also, one of the previous owners inscribed their name and some numbers on the back neckplate, possibly a driver’s license number, which have been obscured with a couple of post-it notes. Overall, this is a very cool guitar overall and will make a great addition to anybody’s guitar collection!
