One night at an installation I slipped on an oily girder. I managed to straddle it and worked my way to the end. That was the end of my doing higher jobs. I was wearing these Moc toe crepe sole Red Wings. They were almost new. Not long after that I moved on and never wore them again. Now I am downsizing. Treated with 1 coat mink oil. Will include some with the purchase.
