This was my personal coat, very good overall condition, moved to a warm climate and only wore coat a few times, then stored in a hanging suit coat garment bag for most of it's life. My dress shirt sleeve length is 34" Coat fits me perfectly. Coat Size: 40-42 Large Coat Length: 31" Sleeve Length: 25" The coat sleeve length measurement of 25" is from top of the sleeve and yoke intersect point to bottom of the cuffThis resulting measurement is different from (a shirt sleeve measurement) where the measurement is made from the middle of the back yoke, over to the top of the shoulder, and then down the arm's length to the bottom of the cuff, which will give a longer length. Chest Measurement: 45 1/2", measurement was made from underneath the coat's arms, and then around the circumference of the coat itself (coat's front and backside). View the chest measurement in the above gallery (Photo #10 above). Coat Pockets: Two large frontal flap pockets (8 1/4" x 6 3/4"). Chest Flaps/Gun Flaps: Two frontal chest or gun flaps (9"x 6") Historically, some British military officers wore their pistols in shoulder holsters. The gun flap was to cover an access opening to the weapon. However, the modern version of the gun flap is not functional, but only a stylish feature to accentuate the overall fashionable appearance. Side Slits: 8" Slit Openings on both sides of the coat. The slit openings allow for ease of maneuverability when wearing the coat.
