Description: This is for an Original Steel Engraved print of Mercer's Hall at Cheapside in London; and this was engraved by William Wallis and drawn by Thomas H Shepherd, and this was published in Shepherd's series of London And Its Environs In The Nineteenth Century, by Jones & Co in London in c1829. The print is approximately 2.50 inches wide x 4 inches high or 7 cm wide x 11 cm high. The engraving is unmounted and it does show some signs of ageing which most of these prints have, and the print was originally laid onto another piece of paper as shown in the photo, and it is guaranteed to be genuine and over 180 years old.
