I have contacted the artist (Jim Owens) about this piece and this was his response via email to me copies here below: "That is an oil on paper painting I did about 3 years ago. My work is geared toward the Tiki scene so my work includes tropical, south seas and oceanic imagery. This includes mermaids. Most of them are oil on linen. The one you have is one of three that I did on paper. If I were to sell that piece today, I would ask between $500 to $750." (I have the original emails from Jim Owens if you would like)).
