Description: For sale is a 2021 Mighty Jaxx Mermaid's Ruin polystone statue created by Los Angeles artist ABCNT. It measures about 10" tall, 16" long, and 11" wide. It depicts an undersea scene where a mermaid reminiscent of The Little Mermaid's Ariel is surrounded by toxic human pollution, debris, death, and decay. It provides a poignant pop culture view of the harm humanity can cause to the environment. It even seems to show the fates of some of Ariel's pals with a skeleton of Flounder, Sebastian's claw sticking out of a takeout box, and Scuttle deceased with plastic 6-pack rings around his neck. I've wanted to keep this for myself but simply don't have the space The statue is in excellent shape aside from what may be a small break on the bottom of the dead seagull's beak. It took me quite a while to notice as it appears from an angle that the statue wouldn't normally be displayed from. Other than that, the statue looks amazing! The box does have some wear to some of the corners, including one in its interior. It also dents and other signs of wear. I took pictures of all 6 sides of the box, as well as closeups of several specific areas of wear, so you can judge its condition for yourself.
