Description: This listing is for an antique, Victorian era (3) piece tea set from the long-gone jewelry store, Mermod - Jaccard Co. of Saint Louis. Missouri. The pattern number is 936. The store sold high quality jewelry, silver and household wares under this name until adding a partner; and becoming Mermod - Jaccard - King in 1905. That name was used until the demise of the company in the 1980s. The set is monogrammed " N " in the center of a floral spray on all three pieces. The set is finished in quadruple silver plate and remains in remarkable condition. with minor evidence of wear considering its 117 plus years old. The teapot is approximately 8 1/4" tall x 9" handle back to spout, and 5 1/2" at the widest point of the bowl. The bottom does show bras sing as a result of what I would believe is the use of a heating element such a candle of some sort (Please see photo # 5.). The teapot weighs one pound eleven ounces. The lid hinge is solid and tight. The creamer is 4" tall x 5 1/4" from spout to handle back, with a 3 3/4" bowl diameter. There are two minor imperfections below the flower spray etching on the no monogrammed side (Please see photo # 7). The creamer weighs 9.3 ounces. The sugar bowl is also 4" tall with a 3 3/4" diameter bowl; and measures 6" from outside handle to outside handle. The sugar bowl weighs 9.5 ounces. I see no noticeable imperfection such as I highlighted on the other two pieces. Included will be a large 18" x 18" Hagerty Silversmith Cloth storage bag in excellent condition.
