Hybrid Power and Speaker for Fat Tone The JP-2C pumps 60watts of power through a custom-voiced 12" speaker, giving you enough volume and headroom for live playing while retaining the signature Boogie sound. Its hybrid solid-state/tube power amp uses four 6L6 tubes in the preamp and power amp for rich harmonics, with a solid-state section providing tight bass and controlled highs. This hybrid design reduces weight without compromising tone. The JP-2C's single 12" Celestion speaker was custom-designed to complement the amp's gain structure, providing a perfect balance of warmth and articulation. PULL GAIN slightly increases the internal VOLUME 1 control setting, providing a small gain boost for specific styles.
