Description: BEST PRICE ON EBAY Up for auction is a great playing and cool looking electric guitar. It's a Michael Kelly 630P. It's part of their Open Pore series of guitars. IMO, I believe Michael Kelly are producing some of the best guitars in the under $500.00 category. Made in Indonesia, like all overseas guitars seem to be, they are better playing and looking than any Fender Squire. The body is made out of Sungkai wood which looks like Teakwood and has a very stunning grain. It has locking tuners and a 2-point, floating trem system. You can split the humbucker pickup by pulling up the tone knob. These are features you would normally find on more expensive guitars. For the price you are getting a solid build using quality wood and parts. I've owned several Michael Kelly guitars and I've been pleased with every one of them. Still own a couple of them. See the last paragraph for a detailed listing of the specs. Sleek, comfortable and sonically versatile, the 63OP is the perfect guitar for the gigging musician. The Open Pore finish on this guitar provides a more natural feel. This finish will preserve the natural acoustic properties of this Tonewood while still providing excellent protection. Put that with our trio of Rockfield® pickups found on all the 1963 models, complete with push/pull coil split on the tone knob for the humbucker, and you get a striking guitar with many tonal possibilities that is as much fun to play as it looks. I purchased some guitar related gear from a music store that closed up shop. This guitar was one of the items I purchased. It was new when I bought it. I've owned this guitar for about a year. I have played it many times inside my home studio. Just got done playing it prior to listing. The guitar sounds great, and everything functions properly PLEASE NOTE: there is no whammy bar include in this ayction. Also, the guitar is pictured with only five strings (only 5 because I broke the E string last time, I played it). Besides they are old and dull sounding. I will be removing them, and I will not be replacing them. For shipping, I will be detaching the neck from the body and both pieces will be securely bubble wrapped snd placed in a secure box for shipping. Rest assured that I will pack this guitar up properly. All you have to do is reattach the neck and put on your favorite strings and you'll be rockin' out.
