It is the original 2001 release. Version V.1. Discs 1 and 2 come in their original sleeve. The Quick Start Guide booklet and Quick Reference card for keyboard shortcuts, plus railroad signals and signs (which appear to be a bit bent) are also included, but not the original box. The physical Engineer's Handbook is not included either. Both discs have been tested on a Dell Optiplex GX260 PC with Windows XP Professional SP2 on it. Everything is in good condition. Fun fact: Did you know that the BNSF Dash 9 #4723, the North American Dash 9 diesel locomotive featured in this game, has the Microsoft Train Simulator Featured Locomotive logo on the real-world counterpart of the same locomotive?
