Description: Impressive and iconic Italian pottery piece by Aldo Londi for Bitossi and sold through / produced for Rosenthal Netter. Great mottled white texture on bulbous round body with nice complementary semi-gloss green banding areas wrapped around the base and that make up the 'graduated stacked-look' lid. Likely mid 1960's to early 70's and retains most of it's original tag. product number 247/1 but appears more numbers were on tag! 6-1/2" diameter at widest point and 17-1/2" overall height, 7 lbs., 3.3 oz.
