Mid-Century? Hand-Woven Signed PUSA Wool Rug/WALL HANGING-BIRDS/DUCKS-59"X45"

Description: *PLEASE view all 24 Photos & read the condition report & measurements below and ask any questions you may have BEFORE bidding or buying* DESCRIPTION: Here is a vintage hand-woven wool wall hanging or area rug. It has a pocket for a rod to hang it (no rod included). It is signed PUSA in the bottom right-hand corner. We are not sure of its age. It could date back to mid-century or may be even older. The design looks like ducks floating. The brownish-orange fringe is hand-tied so that is what the design was woven on. So looking closely that color is throughout the rug or wall hanging. This would look beautiful hanging on a wall with either mid-century decor or even country! We removed this item from a wall of a home here in New Hampshire, that is really all we know for sure about it. It may have some fading. It has no rips & no odors. Read below for more details. MEASUREMENTS: Actual wool rug measures approx. 59" long by 45" wide with a thickness of about 1/8". Total length including the fringe on each end is 61". The fringe on the top is slightly longer, 2". Fringe along the bottom edge is slightly shorter around 1". We removed this item from a wall of a home here in New Hampshire, that is really all we know for sure about it. It may have some fading. It has no rips & no odors. It is not in brand-new condition but nice condition, especially for its age. We are not sure it this was originally a rug that had the pocket added for a rod or not. It may have been made with the pocket sleeve on the back originally. With padding underneath you could easily use it as an area rug. Being offered as found. Please view all photos for more detail.
