Description: Rare pair of nightstands designed by Barney Flagg for Drexel, c. 1960s. Part of Drexel’s ‘Parallel’ series, these beautiful examples are made from rich walnut and glass tops. The solid walnut frames suspend the floating cabinets and glass tops giving them an attractive yet functional aesthetic. The nightstands are finished on their backs allowing them to float in a space and look good from every angle. All original condition with no chips to glass tops. The finish is in excellent shape and still shows very well. Can be used as side tables if desired and would be a nice addition to any mid century, post modern or contemporary interior. You will not find these pieces any cheaper on the Internet. Check it out for yourself. All sales are final, blemishes, commensurate with age.
