Description: Vintage Military Field/Foot Locker All Metal With Original Metal Insert With Printed On U.S. Property O.M.C. (Office Of Military Commissions). The U has been painted over in U.S and some form of designation code/number on the side. It is all steel with formed in handles on the sides and a top lock with the key. It also has its original matching metal tray. It is the size and similar to a foot locker but I do not believe it was a footlocker but a storage container for moving documents and or gear. The lock does work. It has one key. It is 30.5" x 16" x13". Inside it was lined with the old local newspaper dating from Aug. 2 1956. You could tell a lady lined it with paper and filled it with her keepsakes stored like that until I found it in an old barn. It seems a bit unique since I could not find another like it. It is a great unique piece of collectable militaria. It would also make a great coffee type table with storage. Or toy/ammo box along with the ability to store basically anything that fits in it that you would like to keep under lock and key.. Years of quality storage left. It will come as pictured. Have a great rest of your day.
