Description: Milwaukee Bucks Marques Johnson Promotional Tribute Hat, Skyhigh Marketing One of the most underrated though inconsistent players of the late 70s and 80s, Marques Johnson played his first 7 seasons in Milwaukee, before being traded to the Clippers. As a rookie, the 6'7" Small Foward out of UCLA, averaged a double-double, 19.5 points and 10.6 rebounds as well as 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.3 blocks, all while playing 80 games. He made the all-rookie team that season and would have probably been ROY if it weren't for Walter Davis averaging 24.6 points per game for the Phoenix Suns. In his second season, he averaged a career-high 25.6 points per a game and made his first all-star team. He would go on to make 5 all-star teams and named to 3 all-NBA teams, but his career was cut short by a neck injury in the 86-87 season. He would be sidelined for two years and only play 10 more games before retiring. He finished with averages of 20.1 points, 7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.8 blocks. He could have easily been a HOF if it weren't for the injury.
