Description: Black and white paper reproduction of a mining plan pertaining to Bartiebeith Colliery, Easterhouse, Glasgow, showing workings in the Ell, Pyotshaw, Main and Kiltongue coal seams. The minerals were works by Messrs. Ferrier and Strain. The position of the old pit shafts and the areas of underground extraction (uncoloured) are shown in relation to the surface layout at that time, which includes the former Monklands Canal. Seam sections are also shown. The print measures approximately 40cm x 56cm and has been trimmed. Due to the reproduction technique, parts of the print are slightly faint and/or indistinct (see photos). (Postage outwith the UK to be confirmed.) Seller Ref: 935
